While most people who do computer work from home don’t have a real need for an alarm clock, a lost day usually means waking early and going to bed late for a few days to get caught up.

There is the natural added benefit of being able to choose your own hours in most cases. Thus, if you are a night owl and want to work from 2 in the afternoon until 1 in the morning, you have that luxury.

If you need a daily nap, you are permitted to take it. You have the trade off of working later, but often that daily nap is the most precious reason to come home and find computer work that you can do. You don’t just get some control over the nap time, but you also become in control over how much money you earn in a month.

It’s not always easy to find some extra hours or extra money when you work a traditional job for a traditional company. Yet those of us who toil away in home offices know that it is a beautiful thing to decide to work harder this week to make sure we can afford that extra special birthday gift or make up for a vacation in advance.

You can have a lot of fun doing computer work from home. It can also change the way people see you. I love that I work from home because my days are made better by some music and some grooving in my desk chair. I love that I work from home because it is my ability that is noticed, not the fact that I lost my ability to walk three years ago. I do what I do because I love it. There are plenty of people who can really get into that groove.
